Oji is an American rapper/singer/musician/graphic artist/father/truth seeking dream weaver. Born and raised in the Hunters Piont area of San Francisco, CA. His style of music is a mixture of experimental soul, jazz, electro, psychedelic fonk fusion and new age hip hop. Lyrically he focuses on self improvement, ancient/future cultures, and scientific conscious awareness. Recording with any instruments he could possibly find to incorporate into songs, including his family members a.k.a. “The Ascension Team, who are heard singing background vocals. His debut album is titled “The Gift Bearer”, which takes the listener on a paranormal journey of healing and cosmic awakening, genre bending spiritual mutant fonk vibrations that comusicate, showcasing how we are all interwoven and connected behind the scenes of things.

He also displays his original artwork, which ranges from abstract, portrait, collage, photography, jewelery, and sculpture. Begining at the age of 8. Known as one of the best “beat makers” on the block. Producing music for his old neighborhood friends who at times he was negativily influenced by. God, family, music, and art helped save him and heal alot of mental scars.

Oji was awarded artist in residence at the Hunters Point shipyard from 2002 to 2004 where there is an artist colony. Like a rose that grew from concrete he was discovered by Someothaship Connects label leaders G&D (Georgia and Dudley). Whom he is deeply inspired by amongst other revolutionary artist and Master Teachers.
